Sand Barrels

(Big Sandy, 48000 Series, ENERGITE® III, etc.)

Engineered to break upon impact, reducing the chance of lifting or vaulting of the impacting vehicle. Each module in the array consists of a one-piece barrel, a lid, and in some cases, a cone insert.

• Stackable barrel design for easier storage
• Easy to move and provides external verification of the barrels correct weight
• Can be installed in both permanent and work zone applications

Redirective Non-Gating Crash Cushion

(Delta, QUADGUARD® M10, etc.)

Attenuates energy evenly for all vehicle types and anchorage options include asphalt and concrete. After an impact, the product must be inspected and evaluated per the direction of the specifying roadway authority.

• Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) Test Level 3
• Accommodates tracker for immediate notification of impact
• Can be purchased assembled

Non-Redirective Gating Crash Cushion

(TL-3, ARMORBUFFA®, etc.)

Designed to shield the end of all permanent and temporary portable barrier shapes including concrete, steel and plastic. Fast and easy-to-deploy, water-filled attenuators are ideal solutions for contractors in narrow or temporary work zones.

• Can be installed quickly, with as little as one pick up truck and two workers
• Used on compacted dirt, gravel, decomposed granite, asphalt or concrete
• Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) Test Level 3

MASH TMA's

(Scorpion II®, ALPHATM DXM, etc.)

Safely protects and redirects the impacting vehicle away from the "coffin corner" area at the rear of the truck. Exceptionally strong, providing protection against nuisance impacts with re-directional capacity along the entire length of the TMA.

• Can be installed for permanent or temporary use
• Easy to repair on minor impacts
• Custom fabrication/installations available

Truck Mounted

(Scorpion®, ALPHA 70K TMA®, etc.)

Tapered nose design helps minimize corner damage and streamline appearance, but may also be able to regain its original shape after low-speed nuisance hits. After an impact, the product must be inspected and evaluated per the direction of the specifying roadway authority.

• Jacks help facilitate removal
• Shorter footprint when deployed
• Optional receiver hitch helps facilitate TMA mounting

Trailer

(Scorpion®, SMT®, etc.)

Used on heavy host vehicles (minimum 12,000 lbs.), with no upper weight limit. Telescoping Anti-Rotational System (TARS) minimizes rotation during angled and offset impacts, preventing separation from host vehicle.

• Can be equipped with folding/vertical arrow board or PCMS
• Very easy to mount and operate
• Requires little or no modification to host vehicle or additional mounting hardware
